G20

  About the Committee

Our sixth committee is the Group of 20 (G20) which is an intermediate level committee.

G20 is an intergovernmental forum comprising 19 sovereign countries, the European Union (EU), and the African Union (AU). It works to address major issues related to the global economy, such as international financial stability, climate change mitigation and sustainable development, through annual meetings of Heads of State and Heads of Government.

Agenda Items:

Agenda Item I: Countering the tax evasion and avoidance by multinational corporations.

Agenda Item II: Increasing the transparency between G20 countries and reducing the illegal financial flows.
